Event Details: Join us for Soar into Art!, a PD Day children's art class at the Art Gallery of Algoma on Friday June 6, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm. This class is for children ages 5 to 10, and is $30 for AGA members (with an active AGA Family Membership), and $40 for non-members. This art class will introduce your little artist to the egg-cellent world of birds! Students will learn about sculptural and three-dimensional art as they create their favourite feathered friends with recycled materials. We will also be learning about Canadian astronaut Dr. Roberta Bondar's photographs of birds published in her award-winning book, Space for Birds: Patterns and Parallels of Beauty and Flight.
